Why should I consider an adjustable bed frame?

Compatible with more mattresses and beds than one might think, an adjustable base provides an enhanced sleep experience. Eliminating the need for a box spring, an adjustable bed frame is a base or platform for your mattress that allows you to adjust the head and foot of your bed so you can find the perfect position for customized support. A must for every bedroom. Available online in Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King.

FAQs

Which mattresses can be used with these adjustable bed frames?

All of the mattresses that are offered directly through Serta.com will work well on our adjustable bases. For any non-Serta mattresses, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to see if your mattress is adjustable-friendly.

Can a headboard be attached to these bases?

Headboard brackets are optional and would need to be purchased directly from Ergomotion separately.

What is the difference between Split and Divided in the sizes?

Divided bases are two pieces that can be divided horizontally whereas Split bases are two pieces that are split vertically, down the middle. Split Cal King bases have the benefit of the two sides being able to be adjusted independently of one another if you also have a Split Cal King mattress.

What is the weight capacity of these bases?

Each base has its own weight capacity, inclusive of the mattress and bedding, provided it is evenly distributed across the bed base. The weight capacities are as follows: 650 pounds for Motion Air^®, 750 pounds for Motion Essentials^®, and 850 pounds for Motion Perfect^®.

Do you need a box spring with these adjustable bed frames?

No. A box spring should not be used with this base as it would inhibit the ability to adjust.
